Object Description
A aged, stapled, document with four paragraphs typed in black ink. The paper itself, is thin and nearly transparent. Located in the top right corner is the number 2. The first paragraph reads,

"It happens often that the products of the same regional group presents either assimilated or combined many heterogenous elements, which though do not prove ordinarily ad (empty space) of an historic character, they help us, however, in explaining the reginal peculiarities, but at the same time they add to the complication and classification.

It happens also the archaic themes are found side by side with those of purely Byzantine, and the Byzantine combined with motives of oriental occidental origin, and the artist instructively attached to traditional and reginal forms and fighting against foreign influences, repeated transformed or combined the traditional subjects in the new creations.

The study of the production of folk art in all its manifestations it occupies today the savants of all civilized nations.

Diverse theories have been expounded and numerous points of view have been advances or accepted as they have appeared also voluminous writings on the subject in which the distinguished writers analyze their scientific thesis tending to clarify elucidate origins of folk art and the causes which gave it birth."
