The newspaper is from the "OMOΠ- the remaining letters are cut out due to the long tear across the right-hand-side. At the top of the newspaper is a handwritten message in black pen with an assumed date Aug 22-23, 1949.  Article is titled, “ΓIA MIA EΞAIPETH ΠPΩTOΠOPO” (English: For an Exceptional Day) with a black and white photograph image of Mrs. Economidy, located on the left-hand-side above the article title.
