Object Description
Crocheted cream doily. Scalloped edge, butterfly motif. There is a six-petaled flower in the middle, surrounded by a circle. Outside of the circle, there are four butterflies facing toward the flower. They each have two dots on each wing. Outside of the butterflies, there is another circle, with another flower shape that has twelve petals.
Origin
Belonged to Kouea Counelis (Mae's mother) when she came to America to marry Antonio Counelis in Chicago Heights, IL. She was born in Karistos, Eubea, Greece. Moved to Berwyn IL and spent 44 years there died at 96 years old.
