Object Description
White crochet snowflake pattern with blue trim. There are eight outside snowflakes, and one big snowflake in the middle, whose center is the same as the outside snowflakes. All of the snowflakes have a circular hole in the middle and triangle-shaped points on the ends. Most of the outside is trimmed in blue.
Origin
Koula Lazou was the donor's mother. She came to America to marry the donor's father, Antonio Counelis (Tony) in Chicago Heights, IL. She was born in Karistos, Eubea, Greece. She spent her early married life in Chicago Heights, IL then moved to Berwyn, IL, and spent 44 years there and died at age 96.
