Program for The Federation of Greek Orthodox Church Choirs Chicago Diocese 39th Annual Conference. The event took place from October 11-13, 1996 and was co-hosted by the choirs of St. Demetrios Church of Hammond, Indiana and St. George Church Schererville, Indiana.
Saint Demetrius of Thessaloniki is a Christian martyr of the early 4th century AD.During the Middle Ages, he came to be revered as one of the most important Orthodox military saints, often paired with Saint George.
