Ornate late 19th-century brass round handheld mirror made in Turkey. Back of mirror has two-headed bird set in circle surrounded by grapes and leaves. Handle also ornate.
Two headed eagle symbolizes Kastoria's want to be independent from the Turkish government. Katina Barbatsuly lived in Kastoria before she fled to Canada and then to the US to meet her husband Theodore.
