Object Description
White table runner with floral embroidery on opposite ends. Design consists of daisy-shaped flowers that are predominantly red with pink, blue, lavender or yellow. Red stitch along hem. There are small red flowers connected with dashed lines with small pink flowers scattered throughout. Within the small flowers, there are larger pink, purple, blue and yellow flowers. There is a thicker hem along the short sides than along the long sides
Origin
Embroidery was originally used to reinforce seams and could be seen as a part of a girl's transition into womanhood.
