Object Description
Beige embroidered table cloth. Pinecone design. There is a border around the edge of green, black, and yellow zigzags. In the corners, there is a pinecone with light and dark green pine branches as well as red berries. Along the edges, there are two branches with berries. In the middle, there is an oval composed of black, green, and yellow zigzags. There are two pinecone patterns at either end of the short sides of the ovals. Each pattern has three brown pinecones outlined in black with yellow spots and stems and pine needles with red berries.
Embroidery was originally used to reinforce seams and could be seen as a part of a girl's transition into womanhood.
