Object Description
Cream silk with cotton lace with cross flags. The flags are painted onto the napkin and each have a white cross on a blue background with something golden colored in the middle. Below the flags, it reads "Greece." There is golden colored grass to either side of the Greece. Above the flags, there is the same symbol that was in the middle, which appears to be an orb with a cross on top. The napkin is surrounded by lace with flowers on it.
Origin
The sphere with the cross resembles a globus cruciger, which represented the world with a cross on top, to show the domination of Christianity. Various emperors would hold a globus cruciger to symbolize their domination of the world.
