Ecru. Pineapple platter. Round. The doily is in the shape of a flower with eight petals, and a grid-like design in between the tops of the petals to make it round. There is a hole in the middle of the doily. In between the body of the petals, there are lines connecting them.
Origin
The doilies were handmade by relatives of the donor who lived on the island of Kos, Greece. Doilies are used for decoration or to protect furniture. They are characterized by their openwork, which allows the surface below them to show through.
