Object Description
Rectangular Beige Crocheted Doily, Geometric center pattern, decorative edge. The edge is slightly scalloped.
Origin
Doilies were used to protect furniture or as decoration. Crocheting is a way of creating design out of thread using a crochet needle (which has a small hook on the end). As opposed to knitting, crocheting involved having only one loop of cloth open at a time.
