Object Description
12 x 12" linen tea napkin (1 of 4). The napkin has curved edges, embroidered with white thread. In the top right corner of the napkin there is a embroidered flowery design with a bow at the stems. The corner is further adorned with circular, embroidered cutouts and dots.
Origin
Donated by Elenie Bartzis. These napkins are not from Greece and were probably made in Belgium. They were traditionally used as tea napkins and used to serve visino or quideni.
