Object Description
Newspaper from The Eagle with Greek translation of Eagle on the header. Title states, "No place like home for the Greeks." Article is authored by Harry Gerson and is an excerpt from the "Daily Mail." Few rips on edges of the paper, and the paper has started yellowing. Second page is a newspaper with article title, "Historic Greek Costumes will be worn by Usherettes at Queen Frederika's Children's Fund Benefit Concert." Picture on the top half of the page with Mrs. John A. Kopsidas and Margot Kopsidas in a Santa Maura 'wedding gown' and an original 'Queen Amalia' dress. Bottom half of the page contains three small pictures and an article titled, "Friends and Relatives helping Mrs. Libert 'Surprise' her Son." Backside of the page contains a small picture on the left-hand side, adds on the bottom of the page, and columns throughout the middle of the page. The top-left hand corner contains a crossword puzzle in English and Greek, and in the top-right hand corner is an article written in Greek.
