Object Description
This is a colored painting of three women doing laundry in a river or creek. In the background is a large tree and underneath the tree there are two of the women kneeling over the water doing their work. The focus of the painting is the third woman, who is standing with her feet in the water holding up her skirt with one hand and holding her basket of laundry in the other. In the bottom right hand corner is the artist's signature. The painting is in a wooden, gold embellished frame with no hanging mechanism on the back.
