Woven, wool, handmade handbag (tagari). Dark blue background with Greek key design and dots in cream and black stripes and designs with blue and cream braided rope strap.
Origin
Tagari purses are woven, handmade, cloth bags. They were often made and worn by Greek villagers during the 1940s and 1950s. They were originally worn in rural areas of Greece and surrounding European areas for practicality. They are now worn more as a fashion statement.
