Woven wool handbag (tagari). Medium blue background with two Grecian vases and Greek key design in off white embroidery with cream, braided, rope strap.
Origin
A tagari purse is a cloth bag. They were made and worn by workers during the 1940's through the 1950's. The bag was worn rurally in Greece and surrounding European areas for practical reasons but are now worn as more of a fashion statement.
