Origin
Father Niketas Kesses was the priest at Annunciation Cathedral for over 40 years from the mid-1920's to the 1970's. He spearheaded the purchase of St. Demetrios Church in Chicago and led both churches through the Great Depression. Kesses also hosted the 5th Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress. He was related to Chris Molls of Oak Park, Illinois.
