Object Description
Portrait of a man in a military uniform.
Origin
John Floros was the son of Bessie and Jim Floros, and had two sisters, Bertha and Virginia. Floros served in the Second World War and later worked for a cookie company in Wisconsin.

The colorization of the photo was possibly done by Floros' cousin Nitza Deamantopoulos Lyman (aka Ariadne Deamantopoulos) who worked hand tinting photographs among other jobs during her career as a graphic artist in Chicago, Illinois.
