Blue velour woman's hat. The fabric is folded in a way that makes it look like a rose with many layers. Coming out of the top of the hat, down the front and ending at the rim is a thick blue ribbon which ties in a large bow. The inside contains netting, two black combs for securing the hat, and tags. This hat was made c. 1950s by Hats A La Carte, Marshall Fields Fifth Floor. We know that the hat was union made in the USA by number 544655.
