49 x 69" red boucle heavy cotton throw blanket with fringe on 3 sides. Black and cream geometric decoration. The base color of the design is red. There is a black zigzag pattern around the edge, with a white zigzag line in between the two black ones. The inside consists of a rectangle outlined in black diamond shapes with white diamonds on the inside and red in the middle. The black and white yarn is made of a thicker material than the red yarn. The red fringe around the edges consists of triangles made out of thread in a lattice pattern with a small tassel on the outside edge. There is also a seam down the middle.

Theanis is mother of Christhani Kalogridaki. Theanis was born in 1868. Christhani was born in Potamithou, Kissame, Xania, Crete in 1886 and died in 1985 in Illinois. This was a sofa blanket.
