Object Description
A formal portrait of three women and a man in an outside setting. One of the women is wearing a long skirt with a light wool jacket and head scarf and is seated.  The man is seated next to her on the right. He is wearing a suit, vest, and white undershirt. There is a younger woman behind them on the left of the seated woman; she is dressed in all white, with black shoes. The other girl is also standing behind them between the seated man and woman; she  is dressed in a dark coat and black shoes.
Origin
Angie and Bill Demakis donated these photographs in honor of Andrew Nicholas Calas.

Andrew Calas' real family name was Kalogridakis, they were from Crete. In 1927 he married Chrysanthe Mazokapakis in Havana, Cuba. They settled in Chicago. He was a vetern of WWI and was gassed in the war. He died at Hines Veterns Hospital as a result of this injury.

The people pictured are unidentified.
