Object Description
Black and white photograph of the Greek Battalion marching in formation. In the background there are mountains and clouds. There are 3 white buildings off to the right and the ground looks like hard dirt. Off to the left a ways into the battalion you can see an American and Greek flag. There are two officers out front leading the battalion one is carrying a black flag. In the bottom right corner there is an insignia that reads "signal corps U.S. Army."

Donated by Angelo Pappas. Members of 122nd Infantry Battalion "The Greek Battalion" marching in formation at Camp Carson, Colorado 1943.
