Object Description
Black and white photocopy of original photograph. A young man, Lt. Angelo Pappas, is standing on the "bridge of sighs" on camp grounds. He is tall, thin, with short dark straight hair and is wearing a dress military uniform.  He is smiling broadly and resting both hands a rough wooden railing.  The railing has an oval wooden plaque on it with white lettering in Greek font.  The background is bright and appears white with no discernable features.
Origin
Donated by Angelo Pappas. Lt. Pappas was a member of the 122nd Infantry Battalion "Greek Battalion" at Camp Carson, Colorado. Circa 1943.
