Object Description
Gold necklace with "S" shaped pendant with filigree and dot and diamond shape applied detailing. Dark stone in center of pendant. Two wrapped wire drop pendants (similar to 2010.30.7). All attached to chain.
Origin
Donated by Suzanne Salimbene. The handmade necklace was made in Greece, and was most likely part of a women's Sarakatsani costume. Suzanne acquired the necklace while living in Greece, circa 1965-1982.
