Object Description
Handmade metal door knocker. Striker plate is hammered metal. Knocker is in shape of female hand with floral motif at wrist.
Origin
Donated by Catherine Markellos. The handmade door knocker was on the front door of the Spirou home (mother of donor). The hand door knocker was widely used on Greek homes to welcome any visitors.
