Object Description
Hand-embroidered image of Greek Coat of Arms, "Old Glory" and Greek and American flags.

Design consists of two gold eagles with outstretched wings above which sits the Royal Greek Coat of Arms emblem. Below, the eagles clutch furled Greek and American flags, in color. These are all set against a field of purple-blue silk

The embroidered gold lettering at the top reads "The Old Glory."
Origin
Donated by Mary Simms Lazopoulos,who also agreed to pay for restoration costs. Handmade aprox. 1917, by Kalliope Smirniotis, mother of the donor.
