This is a manual coffee grinder,.  Tall brass cylinder shaped grinder with three removable pieces; two cylinder pieces and a dome-shaped top.  A herringbone hatch pattern is etched around both ends of each cylinder piece.   There is a hinged brass handle with a knob at the end on top of the dome-shaped top.  Both are made of the same brass material as the rest of the coffee grinder.
