Object Description
A striped tagari sack without a strap or handles. The bag is a knit wool, striped in green, grey, yellow, magenta, orange, pink, cream, and blue hues. In some areas the bag is simply striped with lines of varying sizes and distances. In other areas there are multiple short lines stacked on top of eachother.
Origin
Belonged to Alexandra (Muyias) Dervisis after it was handmade in Klepa (Roumeli) Greece. Donated by George W. Dervis. Object was made before July of 1921 when the Dervisis' immigrated to the United States.
