This black and white photograph shows the head table at the 1955 Hellenic Professional Society of Illinois (HPSI) banquet at the Bismarck Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. The HPSI was founded in 1925 and is one of the oldest organizations serving Chicago's Greek American community. The organization has long served as a meeting place for Greek American professionals, organizing lectures, social gatherings, and philanthropic events benefiting Greeks and non-Greeks alike.
