Object Description

Part of a three-piece set of decorative dishes.  Each has unique pattern that complements design and color palette of other two plates.  The main color of this plate is turquoise. A large, ornate white flower / sunburst is depicted in the center. The secondary colors are red, blue, and gold. The outer rim of the plate is gold.This is part of a set that also includes vase 1994.97.2.

Origin
Kutahia is a small merchant in Athens that makes statues and pottery which reflect the tradition of Ancient Greece. Although their products are handmade, they are reproductions.
