Object Description
This is a certificate from the American Bar Association for Themis Anagnost. The first letters in the words "American Bar Association" are bigger than the other letters and red. Their logo is in the bottom left corner, which consists of their name, along with the Stature of Liberty's torch with a balanced scale on it. The writing of the certificate is in cursive. The font is black and the certificate is an off white color.
Origin
Themis Anagnost was married to Catherine Cook, a fellow attorney. They worked at their own firm, called Anagnost and Anagnost. Themis died at the age of 89. He was born in Stadion, Arcadia, Greece in 1913 and came to the US in 1931. He attended the University of Chicago.

The certificate reads:
"American Bar Association certifies that Themis Anagnost is a member of this association which is dedicated to the mainenance of the highest professional standards, the advancement of the administration of justice and service to the legal profession and the public."
