In Acknowledgement of Meritorious Service rendered by the school safety patrol, the teachers and pupils of the Socrates Greek-American School are given this Certificate of Award, indicating that this School has been recognized for the following commendable record: no child attending this school has been killed or injured in a traffic accident while crossing at an intersection protected by the school safety patrol, during the period of one year ending spring, nineteen hundred forty-four. Presented by the Chicago Motor Club."
