Object Description
A gold-colored metal pin in the shape of three revolutionary soldiers holding an early american flag. They stand on a platform. The flag is has a circle of 13 stars, and only has 4 stripes of red and white. The soldiers are wearing blue coats, white pants, and blue stockings. Two beat drums and one plays a flute. The one on the left wears a blue cap.The platform they stand on is blue and says in gold letters 1776-1976.
Origin
A pin to commemorate the U.S. bicentenial, made by Wolf-Brown, a company that made military insignia, including NASA patches, before it merged with Vanguard, who makes the insignia today.
