Object Description
Copper container with a brass handle. The surface is engraved with sections of floral designes, geometric patterns, and caligraphy. This main band of decoration has mirroring bands of geometric etching above and below. There are also three rings of engraved wave motifs on the thinnest part of the vessel, just above it on the lip, and towards the very bottom. The brass handle has been engraved on both sides with a repeated, boxy spiral pattern.
Origin
this vessel was previously owned by the parents of the donor's (Helen Graveites) husband.

This piece was handmade although there is not evidence of when or where it was made.
