Object Description
U.S. Army Air Coprs. dress blue jacket. The jacket is a dark army green made out of wool. On the bottom right sleeve there is an patch signifing radio operator. On the the left sleeve there is a patch for the 8th Air Force. On the middle of each sleeve there is a Sergeant First Class chevrons. There are four pockets on the front, two breast pockets, and two on the bottom.
Origin
Donated by Pauline Kalogeras. The jacket was a part of Chris G. Kalogeras's Army Air Coprs. uniform during WWII. Chris was a radio operator and gunner in the 401 Bomb group.
