Object Description
Round, brown leather, bomber hat. The hat covers from the forehead hair line to the back hair line. It also covers both ears. Where the hat covers the ears there are black plastic cuffs with a hole. Under the ears there are two snap's and a string to tie under the chin. The inside is made of a yellow softer material. There is extra padding around the ears. There is a black tag sewen in with the type, spec., size, P.O NO, and property off. By the left ear there is a stamp for the Army Air Corps.
Origin
Donated by Pauline Kalogeras. The cap was a part of Chris G. Kalogeras's Army Air Corps. uniform during WWII. Type A-11 Army Air Forces WWII Army Hat Cap Helmet.
