Object Description
Red velvet apron. The main fabric of the apron is red velvet. Toward the bottom of the apron there are embroidered flowers and steams. Most of the flowers and steams are in a gold metallic thread, and the rest are in a cream cotton color. The same floral design is also embroidered on the handles that clasp the apron together. The backing of the apron is a red silk.
Origin
Found in Collections. The apron was most likely part of a costume. The design is similar to the costumes that orginate from the Epirus region.
