Object Description
This is a name-tag with a ribbon attached to it. There is a metal on the ribbon, too. The name-tag is white with a red border. At the top it says in blue print "54th Supreme Convention Order of AHEPA Aug. 15-21, 1976 Houston, Texas". At the top left corner of the nametag is the AHEPA seal. In the middle of the tag there is black printed letters which reads "Peter S. Paulos, No. 239, Missoula, Mo". Under that in blue lettering is "Delegate- Order of AHEPA. The paper tag is encased in a plastic cover. On the back, there is a pin attatched. The ribbon is red, white, and blue. The metal is a copper color. Around the border of the metal reads the same thing as the tag (54th Supreme...Houston, Texas) In the center is a 5 pointed star with a city-scape depicted. On the backside of the metal, around the border is "1776 Order is AHEPA 1976 Bicentennial Commission". In the center is the Liberty Bell, and around it is "We hold all men are created equal". On either side of the Bell is a star.
Origin
Peter S. Paulos was one of the delegates in the 54th Supreme Convention of AHEPA. The event took place in Houston, Texas.
