Object Description
This grave marker is round with the AHEPA emblem engraved into it. The grave marker is made of cast aluminum. Around the border of the marker is "ORDER OF AHEPA". On the back of the marker are the words "Thomas Leon Enterprises". Also on the back are hooks/bracket through which a pole can be inserted, allowing for the grave marker to stand.
Origin
AHEPA (American Hellenic Education Progressive Association) is a Greek-American organization founded in 1922 to promote Hellenism, education, and responsiblity. It helped Greek assimilate into American society.
