Object Description
This fez is made of red felt. The letters stitched on here are yellow and say 'AHEPA District Governor District 18. In the center is an AHEPA symbol of a wreath and eagle, a blue cross and two crossed swords. Attached to the top of the fez is a yellow tassel.
Origin
AHEPA (American Hellenic Education Progressive Association) is a Greek-American organization founded in 1922 to promote Hellenism, education, and responsiblity. It helped Greek assimilate into American society.
