Object Description
This belt is made of blue velvet. It has 14 metal rectangles attached to it. In each of these rectangles are a 5-pointed star. There are also two metals which have an 8-pointed star in them. Sewn onto the velvet belt is a piece of material on which is printed "Fraternal Outfitters GEMSCO 692 Broadway N.Y." Dangling from the belt is a round metal around which there is a painted green wreath and an eagle on the top. In the center is a blue cross and two crossed swords. Underneath that metal is another metal of two crossed grovels.
Origin
GAPA (Greek American Progressive Association) was founded in 1923 and was dedicated to presserving Greek culture in America.
