Object Description
This belt is made of blue velvet. It has 14 metal rectangles attached to it. These squares have the Greek meander pattern around them. There are also two circle metals. Around them are the Greek meander pattern. In the center is a symbol of GAPA. Dangling off the bottom of this belt are three metals:two are of the letters "USA" and underneath those is figure the Bible. Sewn onto the blue velvet is a piece of material on which says "Rose Lipp Regalia Co. 175 Tremont St. Boston, Mass."
Origin
GAPA (Greek American Progressive Association) was founded in 1923 and was dedicated to presserving Greek culture in America.
