Object Description
The fez is red with gold stitched lettering which reads "AHEPA". On the front of the fez, below the lettering there is the AHEPA eblem stitched into the fabric. The tassel is blue and white. The fez is velvet.
Origin
AHEPA (American Hellenic Education Progressive Association) is a Greek-American organization formed in 1922 to promote education, Hellenic culture, and responsibility. It also helped assimilate Greeks into American society.
