Object Description
The fez is blue with gold stitched lettering which reads "GAPA". On one side of the fez, there is a red, white, and blue ribbon. Below "GAPA", there is a metal of the emblem of GAPA. The fez is felt.
Origin
GAPA (Greek American Progressive Association) was founded in 1923 and was dedicated to preserving Greek culture in America. These fez hats were worn by members of GAPA during various occasions.
