Object Description
This is a blue cigarette box with gold lettering. On the top of the box there is an inscription in Greek that says "Sigaretta 22 Antinikot". On the front side of the box there is a Greek inscription in gold lettering that says "Th. D. Georgiades A.E. Athens". On the right side of the box in gold Greek lettering says "Sigar. 20 Dr. 9.00". On the left side of the box in gold Greek lettering "Sigaretta Antiikot".
Origin
The cigarette box was donated by Pete Poulos from Missoula, Montana. The Georgiades Th. D., Cigarettes Industry SA was established in 1938. It is located at Athens-Lamia, Greece.
