A wooden-based plaque with a plastic-topped certificate on the front. The certificate is very simple; the first letters of every one of John N. Nicholson's names are gold and ornate. At the bottom, there is an Illinois Insitute of Technology crest.

Donated by the Estate of Dr. John N. Nicholson. Plaque awarded to Dr. John N. Nicholson for establishing the Dr. John N. Nicholson Fellowship Fund at the Illinois Insitute of Technology, 1986.
