Object Description
Tan,rectangle, hand painted, doily. On the two ends there is gold embroidery with the design of fans. On the same two ends there is the same hand painted designs. There is a small vase on the bottom and steaming from the vase are flowers and steams. On each side of the vase there is a bird with their wings out. Above the vase there is a large circular flower. The colors used are brown, mustard yellow, gold, grey, blue, red, purple, white, and olive green.
Origin
Donated on behalf of Cleo and Barootes Guigulis by Celia Kachmarski. The hand painted doily is circa 1930-2000.
