Object Description
A golden-frammed Order of the Gold Cross of the Phoenix proclaimation presented to John G. Thevos. Topped with the cross and signed at the bottom.
Origin
Donated by Aphrodite Tsairis Thevos. Order of the Gold Cross of Phoenix of Greece presented to John G. Thevos by Greek Consul General B.G. Vitsaxis in recognition of his services fostering Greek-American relations on behalf of King Paul of Greece. 1962.

"Pavols- King of the Greeks,
Awarded to John G. Thevos, Supreme president of AHEPA. Cross of the advanced battalion of the Phoenix and present, this as for proof this diploma signed under the Foregin Minister March 10, 1960 (saviors year)."
