Object Description
A wooden plaque with angular, Hellenic designs running up both sides. At the top there is the AHEPA crest with an eagle on a medal attached to the wood. Around the medal, golden stars protrude. At the bottom there is a copper plate with inscription: Presented to John G. Thevos by The Past Presidents of The Alexander Hamilton Chapter Order of AHEPA, In Recognition of the Honors that he has Brought to the Chapter. June 28, 1960. There are two smaller stars next to the copper plague.
Origin
Donated by Aphrodite Tsairis Thevos. A plague given to John G. Thevos by the past presidents of AHEPA for the honors he brought to the chapter. The plaque was presented June 28, 1960.
