Object Description
A medal given to John G. Thevos as the president of AEPHA. The medal is hung on a strap of purple-velvet lined in colden threading. On the purple velvet there is gold designs alternating in stars and intricate patterns connected by chain links. At the very center there is a golden crown. The medal hangs under a gold "Supreme Lodge" scroll. The medla is gold. There is an eagle above a light blue cross with golden swords crossing bhind it. The cross sits on a cloud with laurels expanding beside the cloud. Under the medallion a "President" scroll hangs by chain links and under that hangs two crossing hammers.
Origin
Donated by Aphrodite Tsairis Thevos. An AHEPA medallion presented to John G. Thevos as president between the years of 1949 and 1951.
